Nokia's PureView 808 to be launched in May
Today Nokia is putting an end to all of those rumors – the 41MP camera-smartphone PureView 808 is coming in May as it was promised all the way back in February.
India and Russia will be the first countries where Nokia will launch its PureView 808 camera phone later this month. Running on Symbian S60 (Nokia Belle) platform, the PureView 808 features a gigantic 41-megapixel camera sensor, which churns out stunning photographs in 5-megapixel resolution.
Nokia and Carl Zeiss made another announcement today – about their extended partnership. This means both companies will continue to work tightly together so they can bring you even better mobile cameras than the PureView 808’s.
