Back of the heels of the newly launched Xperia NXT series of smartphone, Sony mobile has just announced two new Xperia smartphones – The Go and the Xperia Acro S. Sony is saying both these devices will ship globally in Q3 of 2012.

Sony is launching the Xperia P in India next week and probably on May, 22nd. According to reports is will have a price tag of nearly Rs. 24,999.

From a couple of days we are hearing about the launch of Xperia U and Xperia SOLA and the company is just bringing it’s next Xperia line up phones to India.Yesterday, Sony Xperia U was made available in India via the online retailers, but still the company has not announced it officially.

Sony is all set to launch its second android phone Xperia U after Xperia S. Sony Mobile India had announced the smartphone in the country along with Xperia Sand Xperia P last month. It is powered by a 1GHz dual core processor, has a 3.5-inch display with 854x480p resolution and a 5MP camera.

Missing from the ultrabook action till now, Sony has announced the company's first ultrabooks today.

Dubbed as VAIO T series, these will go on sale globally this month.
The two modets available will be T11 and T13 and as you can guess  the former has a 11-inch display and the latter a 13-inch display.

Sony unveils this year's Cyber-shot line-up

Sony India unveiled a new line of Cybershot cameras in Kolkata on Wednesday and revealed their expectation of reaching 45% market share in the current fiscal year.
The company has committed to releasing 34 new Cyber-shot models between now and May, this year. The Cyber-shot cameras have been categorized into the high-end H series, mid-ranged W series, and the entry-level S series. Read more for Features and pricing.

Sony to Introduce Android 4.0 Upgrade Next Month



Sony has now officially announced that it plans to introduce the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS version upgrade for some of its select smartphones, starting as early as next month. The devices receiving this upgrade would include the Xperia arc S,Xperia neo V and Xperia ray in mid-April. This upgrade rollout, Sony mentioned, would take place gradually and would take about 3 to 4 weeks to complete the process.

Sony has finally taken out its Xperia SOLA Smartphone(previously named PEPPER)  from the den.
The Xperia sola is built with a thinner design as its previously announced counterparts having 9.9mm and carries a very appreciative sleeve which Sony calls it “floating touch”.
It also comes with new data sharing technology called NFC(Near Field Communication)
