LG to Launch its Cloud Service

LG to Launch its Cloud Service

After the lauch of Google DriveLG Electronics has announced the beta version of its cloud service that will allow users to access content from their smartphones, tablets and TVs.

LG Cloud is claimed to be the first that enables users to manage and consume all types of content on "three screens" which includes Android smartphones, PCs and smart TVs (including but not limited to CINEMA 3D models) without a separate set-top box.

Anyone will have access to a free account with 2GB of space, although LG is providing a heavy incentive to buy into LG devices. These users will get 5GB for free, and the first six months will give them 50GB of space.

Users will first be required to download the LG Cloud Android app from the Google Play or from the LG Smart World. The same app should be downloaded on the desktop or your laptop so that LG’s server can then sync all your stored stuff on your handset or computer and can then stream it on the TV.
